Finding the Best Bathrooms on Campus

posted Sep 4, 2009, 7:35 PM by Danny Eusebio

When nature calls, you have no choice but to find the nearest bathroom. But you know what, I think bathrooms are a sacred and safe place, where one may do their business freely. You shouldn't have to sit in a stall worrying about people smashing through the door or even waiting long lines to use the john. Trust me, if you follow the steps we're going to mention now, you'll never have to find yourself in a stinky situation in an important time. I mean come on, potty time is thinking time. Let's think away...

  1. Avoid using the restrooms that are on the same floor as the majority of classes. If you are in a building with multiple classrooms, chances are you have 1 restroom with very few bowls and stalls. Hopefully your school building has multiple floors. Head your way up to the second or third floor and find yourself a nice bathroom no one else is using.
  2. Don't use the restroom during peak hours. Peak hours are when classes begin and end. If you're on campus and nature calls, locate yourself in a potty at a time in between the beginning and end of a class.

For all you freshmens out there. When you have to go to the bathroom and you're in class, you don't need to ask permission. Just get up and go. That reminds me of grade school, when students had to go to the bathroom during class they would ask the teacher. Usually the student who took the longest was probably taking a crap and everyone would stair at them funny.  Oh, the good old days. So yeah, don't worry, just get up and go to the bathroom.

That's it. If you follow those two protocols, you'll find yourself relaxing and less time stressing about finding a working restroom. If you're a freshmen, it's good to explore the campus and figure out which buildings have nice or crappy restrooms. Obviously the newer the building appears, the more likely the restrooms will be nice. Trust me, nature will call one day, and the last thing you want to do is scramble and look for a bathroom and sadly find it looking like that image above.
